**CrossFit 337 New Year’s Challenge
Rules & Regulations**
Overview
The CrossFit 337 New Year’s Challenge is a 12-week challenge designed to build consistency, accountability, and measurable improvement in fitness, strength, and body composition. This challenge is open to all CrossFit 337 members, from beginners to experienced athletes.
The focus of this challenge is IMPROVEMENT. Athletes who show greater improvement will earn more points.
Challenge Dates
Start Date: January 5
End Date: March 29
Entry & Eligibility
Entry fee: $50
Participants must be active CrossFit 337 members.
Entry into the CrossFit 337 New Year’s Challenge automatically includes entry into the CapFit New Year’s Challenge.
How to Participate
Athletes must sign in for class each day they attend.
All workout scores, lift results, and test results must be logged in Wodify.
Saturday and Sunday count as make-up days.
Athletes may complete make-up workouts on any day that works for them.
Scoring Overview
Points are earned through improvement across multiple categories.
The greater the improvement, the more points an athlete and their team will earn.
Workout & Strength Testing
Benchmark workouts and one lift will be tested during the challenge.
Baseline tests and retests will be built into normal class programming.
Tests will not be announced ahead of time.
All athletes are expected to complete tests during regular classes when scheduled.
Body Composition (InBody)
Body composition scoring is based on:
Body fat pounds lost
Muscle mass pounds gained
InBody score improvement
InBody Scan Windows
Athletes will have designated scan windows during:
Week 1
Week 5
Week 9
Week 12
InBody Scan Rules
Athletes may scan anytime during the designated scan windows.
InBody scanner code: 2026
If scanning for the first time, athletes must use their FULL NAME as their user ID to ensure accurate tracking.
All scans are saved in the InBody system for official scoring.
Teams
Team Format
Teams consist of 4 athletes.
Coed teams are optional, not required.
Athletes may create their own team or be matched through the gym whiteboard.
Athletes may sign up solo and join a team at any time before teams are finalized.
Team Scoring
Team scores are based on the combined individual points of all four team members.
Teams will also earn points from a team workout improvement.
Team Workout
One team workout will take place during the first 3 weeks of the challenge.
The gym will announce which day the workout will be completed as a group.
The first recorded score will count toward team standings to ensure fair competition.

Prizes will be awarded for:
Top individual finishers
Top team
CapFit prizes may include a FREE 6-month CapFit membership and additional awards.
